My Name is Anne Nielsen and I am the Principal at Crystal Springs Elementary.
I have been in education for almost 25 years, teaching for 18 years; grades 1st - 6th, I enjoy building strong relationships with staff, students, families and community members. My goal as principal of Crystal Springs each year is to guide and support our staff and students to reach their highest potential, in a safe and nurturing environment. I believe in the academic and social needs of all students. My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe so that they may grow their brain each and every day.
I have an incredible husband, Wes, and two beautiful children - Savanna (18) and Luke (16). People often say that I treat each child in my school as my own. I believe that a school should function as a family and build a climate of trust and mutual respect.
Hello, students, families and staff of Crystal Springs Elementary. My name is Sean Schoenfeldt and I am proud to be the Assistant Principal of this amazing school.
This is my 21st year in education. I have served as an Elementary Principal in the Clover Park School District, the Muckleshoot Tribal School and the Port Angeles School District. Prior to my time as a Principal, I taught K-5 for twelve years in the Tacoma School District. I believe students can reach their full potential when educators and families are working together towards the same goal.
My wife Rebecca and I have been married for 16 years. We have two daughters – Maggie 13 and Marin – 11. Family is very important to me as I always strive to help build a school, I would want my own children to attend. I look forward to being a part of Crystal Springs continued success.
