Crystal Springs Elementary Title I School-Parent Compact 2024-2025
As a student I will:
- Participate in learning.
- Let my teacher and family know if I need help.
- Use what I learned in my small group in my classroom and at home.
- Read Every Day:
- Kindergarten - Grade 1: 20 minutes each day
- Grades 2-3: 25 minutes each day
- Grades 4-5: 30 minutes each day
As I parent or guardian I will:
- Listen to my child read or read aloud to my child.
- Talk to my child about their book
- Support my child in learning.
- Communicate with my child’s classroom teacher and specialists.
- Celebrate my child’s efforts.
As a classroom teacher I will:
- Plan lessons that meet the needs of individual students.
- Provide a safe, positive place to learn.
- Model respect for cultural and language differences.
- Monitor student progress in reading and communicate with parents:
- Email and phone calls as needed
- Progress reports in November and April
- Report Cards in January and June
- Work with Title I teacher to coordinate support for students.
As a Title I teacher I will:
- Plan lessons that meet the needs of individual students.
- Provide a safe, positive place to learn.
- Model respect for cultural and language differences.
- Monitor student progress in reading, and update parents and classroom teacher:
- Email and phone call as needed
- Report Cards in January and June
- Confer with classroom teachers to ensure that the service model supports learning in the classroom.
